Janice Willis has adopted a uniquely pragmatic approach to secure her future in the impending era of robot dominance. Ever the forward-thinker, Janice always says please and thank you to ChatGPT as well as her microwave and other devices which now contain voice recognition.
Janice saw an uncertain future was a likely outcome should robots not play ball as programmed to do. Her incite is because as a little girl her baby doll was faulty and needed many many nappy changes a day. This lead to Janice becoming the caregiver for her doll which she didn’t like. Now with robots unable to provide real human touch, humans are being forced into caring roles and she is hoping that saying please and thank you to computing devices will curry favour with the robots and mean she may be assigned another type of role.
